Hi John, It's me, the jimmy rig van owner. I lived in St cloud for 3 years, and now I live in the minneapolis area, and I wish I still lived in St. Cloud. It's a great city, small but big, but I never found a good VW mechanic, and the dealership folks there seemed pretty nice at first...but thats another story. Also, I have NEVER driven my van in the winter. I don't know what type of climate you live in, but the salt and sludge of one winter will eat right through any vehicle. Also, tring to steer a rear wheel drive rear engine van on glare ice is a tough and scary thing to do. My van starts fine in the cold, but the heater doesn't want to heat as much as I would like it to. I store my van usually from November until about April every winter. I have driven it in the cold, but I only drove it in the snow once, by accident, and I ended up stranded in Des Moines, IA on my way home from Oklahoma once over thankgiving. Anyways, St. Cloud is a nice place, but winter is not too great. See Ya, Kim
