I have been following the following threads and have come up with an elegant solution.

By combining the above thoughts I have come up with the following solution:

IMHO $3000 USD is cheap when you are involved with a ground loop. All that is necessary is to deploy the Vanagon Rear Spare Tire Carrier just before you do your ground loop and make sure your ground loop is to the right. The Vanagon Rear Spare Tire Carrier will act as an extra ground and help you safely complete your ground loop without a complete roll over.

Two Vanagon Rear Spare Tire Carriers (invert one when mounting) deployed left and right would ensure NO ground loop, right OR left, and also help offset "nose dive", when stopping, due to the additional rear weight bias.

When you consider the cost of straightening body panels, repairing seam rust, matching paint, replacing brakes, installing stiffer springs, honing your slave cylinder, and replacing your clock and those cheesy stock speakers... the Vanagon Rear Spare Tire Carrier ground loop preventer is way cheap!
