Subject: anybody interested in automatic VW Vanagon logo watches
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi All,

I contacted a company who specializes in Russian soft-wind (that's wind as in winding a clock) and automatic wrist watches. No batteries. They either self-wind or manual wind to keep running even when you don't have it on. I own a few of these with assorted automotive logos.

They can customize the bezel and the face with whatever logo or brand you want (list sticker logo? Vanagon? Syncro?) Minimum order is 50. The actual brand is Poljot. Price is dependent upon number of units ordered.

I have seen these watches sell for up to $60-$270 depending on what logos are on them in eBay. Porsche guys pay the most it seems.

Anyway, if I can get close to the 50 unit minimum, I will play the role of the village idiot and accept responsibility for coordinating this thing. Payments via PayPal just like the stickers. I figured that we can get them for about $50-$60 for the chronometer similar to what the Russian Cosmonauts wear. Or $10 USD less for the basic watch. Unfortunately, the self-winding watches are only available in men's style.

You can get about 60 of them for the price of a spare tire carrier! Wow! (Sorry 'bout that, David).
