Just FYI, the parts guy at the dealer found them this time (giving him the part number did help.... :), but bad news is they are charging $1.50 apiece for the clips. I went on and ordered 15 of them, since I have 2 Vanagons and 1 Westy, figure I will end up using them.

Supposed to have them tomorrow.....

You may (should?) be able to find the ballast resistor at a electronics supply house, it looks like a standard wire wound resistor, but you will need to know the resistance of the it before going (and if it is bad, that could be a problem......). I can check mine if anyone wants to know, before I reassmbly it.
