Subject: What should I replace "As long as I'm at it" when I pull the gas
              tank and the instrument cluster?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I'm going to be doing the following work very shorty:

1) Install a 22.5 winkler tank 2) Install a new instrument cluster with tach 3) Install a second battery under the drivers seat ( In an emergency I want to be able to start the van off of either battery) 4) Get the auxiliary gas heater to work 5) Replace the old bosch breaker-points with Pertronix

I have already decided to also:

1) Replace the gas lines 2) Replace the brake master cylinder since the dash is apart 3) Replace the clutch master cylinder since the hydraulic system will need bleeding while replacing the brake master (the slave is new already) 4) If anything is missing under the gas tank, particularly heating tubes etc, I want to put them in when I have access (not necessarily using VW parts)

Is there anything else I should replace "while I'm at it"?

1) Fuel pump / filter / etc. 2) Brake booster 3) Heating components 4+) ???????
