According to UPS, that is a very good estimate for a properly packaged
transaxle with clutch housing.  I recently shipped one and I was billed for
86 lb.  Curiously, at home it weighed 98 lb. on a parcel scale calibrated to
100 lb. with 2 unopened 50 lb. bags of flour.  Then, when I first hoisted it
onto the UPS scale it weighed 92 lb.  The clerk asked me to remove it since
she had already entered the data for another package which I was shipping.
As my hernia popped, I again placed it on the scale for the official
weigh-in.  That was when it weighed 86 lb.  I think if you continue to weigh
it, it will take on a negative mass.
