Adam... the first step is to put a volt meter to the terminals of the
auxiliary battery.... should be over 12 v


If it is not, then you need to check to see that the relay is hooked up
properly... start the engine and at idle see put the volt meter to the aux
batt terminals again... if the voltage reading does not go up then you
likely have not hooked up the relay correctly.
