Subject: Stove knobs and dashboard utility trays
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Volks,

So, last week I was loading some plywood into my '89 Westy, sort of grumbling about the closet hindering my ability to put more than 3 sheets in at an angle, and I knocked one of the knobs off of my stove.

At first I though it was no big deal, I'd just pick it up and slide it back onto the post. Then I realized that I'd broken the post off as well.

Bus Depot can't get them, and I am now turning to the list, "lookin' for a miracle."

Does anyone know where one might find such an item?

Also, my friend Kyle's Vanagon sports a cool tray on his dashboard which has slots for two beverages, some cassettes, and a pile of coinage. This too was on the "not available" list at Bus Depot.

Are they available anywhere?

Thanks in advance,

Tom Portland, OR 89 Westfalia GL ("Marlin")
