Are you sure it's CV joints? So many other things could rattle on little bumps. When you grab both sides of the CV and pull or twist in opposite directions, is there play? If not then what could rattle? Is this noise in the rear of a 2wd or the front of a Syncro? If in the front, this could also be: brake pads that have worn anti-rattle springs, worn bushings (any of 'em), the top shock mount, or the front mount of the T/C strut (aka radius rod). Considering that your CV joints are new, I'd look elsewhere.
