Hi Folks, I own a 1991 Vanagon GL which I bought from the original owner, last August with 44k miles on it. It was immaculate (still is). The owner had no problems with it. Once I learned of the recall I asked the owner if he had ever had his AC duct worked on under the factory recall. He had not. So, my question is, is this something I should have my local VW look at and/or fix? I've seen a number of posts, from folks who had their AC duct fall on them. I am not sure how bad a problem this is, but if it is important, I would like to take care of it, especially if it is covered under a recall. Opinions? Should I fix it? Is it even broken? I'm sure I wouldn't know. Feel free to email me directly if you like too, Thanks much, I appreciate your help. dave bowers Vancouver, Washington 1991 Vanagon GL 54k |
