mmm, ever tried brushing shellac on fiberglass insulation? Shellac is a great wood finish, my favourite for ease of use, non-toxicity (if you use 95% etoh as solvent) and great look. It is however not a finish to use where you expect lots of moisture or spilled martinis. Alistair
