More of same ----- even if AC duct has not fallen, have the "kit" installed anyway. From what I can gather, it's only a matter of time, before it falls. So head the problem off at the gap. Don't let it happen and then try to fix it. When mine fell, I was on the interstate and nearly wrecked the van. Scared the blazes out of me. If I have been hauling kids, or kids and Moms, it could have been a disaster.

So check your VIN # with your VW dealer, and if eligible your get the kit installed. Don't wait. It will cost you nothing but your time.
