Subject: converting 85 vanagon into westfalia
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I would like to post this question: I currently own a 1985 vanagon with a defunct motor, I know someone selling a 1984 Westfalia that was involved in a serious accident. All of its camping apparatus is in great shape, along with the motor. The body is beyond repair. What is involved in converting my 85 into a westy? has anybody done this and can detail some of the pitfalls I may encounter. I would like to convert it completely, including the pop top.

Ron
