Just bought one yesterday!  Fiance liked them, I wanted something I could
afford payments on and didn't have to work on (origional thought was 3,000
used car).  375 down 199.99 month (ballon payment at the end - it works out
o.k. for us cause the other car will be payed off by then).  The people were
nice at the dealership, and the price for what we wanted and got was better
than anywhere else (ford, mitsu, VW ect).  We went pretty stripper, A/C and
CD, no power windows ect. - it's worth 20/ month to us to roll up our own
windows.  Design wise, they're solid.  We got the single overhead cam engine,
and it pushes the car smartly with no worries about not being able to
accelerate into another lane, handels o.k. for a sedan, actually pretty good
compared to other cars we looked at.

We're happy with our decission thus far, and Automobile magazine says it
holds it's value well if we trade in 3 years..
