Josh,

I fixed mine. The vacuum tube that runs from the vacuum pump in the engine compartment to the vacuum switch on the brake pedal wore a hole in itself. The hole developed where the tube runs through the firewall. The tube chaffed itself until a hole developed. Without vacuum, the otherwise properly operating cruise control did not work. I replaced the tube in its entirety, but I could have wrapped the bad spot with duct tape. Really, seriously, duct tape.
