Joel,


Crown in Hoover did check my VIN and my 88GL  is elegible for the AC
tunnel fix. They have already ordered the parts and said if there was
anything related that needed fixing they would take care of that as
well....like broken end pieces of the tunnel which broke off when it hit
the floor.


So to onece again answer everyones question about this, Volkswagen is
still honoring the recall, even though the vans agre getting old. My GL
is 12years old.


Will let you know hw it works out in the end.


BTW, don't you have a Berg Short Shifter in your van? How do you like
it? Thinking about getting one.
