Re: Hidden treats (Easter eggs) in Technical art

I work as a technical illustrator for Boeing Helicopter. There is a story that I have heard from back in the day. Supposedly, an artist included a teeny hidden derogatory four letter message to management or fine adjustment to a depiction of a crew member's fingers working around the craft in a full aircraft cut-away illustration of the AH-64-A Apache helicopter. No big deal and totally hidden as long as the illustration remained in paper form on the small tech-pubs size. Whatever it was~ it was hidden. Someone forgot adjust the message/illustration when it was employed into a view graph for one of the BMF HDFIC POC giving the presentation. BAM! there was the message in blazing glory on the big screen as it was presented to the important doo-rod customers. That illustrator (graphic artist) is no longer at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Helicopter. Mostly true story... -ellis\ ROTFLMAO
