Hi,


I have a 85 1.9.


There is a small solenoid valve in the upper right corner of my engine bay.
It has a brown and a black wire going to it.


It takes filtered air and puts it into the intake manifold.


From the Bentley it appears it is the power steering boost valve. I have
dealer AC also, Bentley says it should have a valve also but I just have the
one.


Am I correct that this is the PS boost valve?  If it is mine is stuck open
because I can pinch the hose with pliers and the RPM's drop a couple
hundred.
