Quite right about this being the wrong part of the country to sell a Vanagon (fortunately for me I haven't had to do that yet). Of course the flip side is that this is a great place to buy one. I'm always amazed at the prices in other areas. I purchased my '89 Carat for $2800, and my Syncro cost me $900 (yep, no missing zeros). No major repairs required by either one, and both with minimal rust for this area.

Hmmm...if only there were a few more around...and I had a bigger garage...
