Hi list, Sorry to hear about your troubles too, and I'm glad it got fixed. Heres what happened to me a few weeks ago at 2am in the middle of Indiana. We were driving along, and all the sudden the van wouldn't go. So we pulled over and tried to start it a few times, then we got the flashlight to try and see what the problem was. There was gas leaking somewhere near the front of the engine. Eventually, after following all the gas lines around the engine at 2 am on the side of the freeway with a mini mag light, we found the problem. One of the line clamps had come loose and the lines came apart, spewing gas all over. It all turned out okay in the end, but what a panic we had. Aren't vanagon's fun? Kim
