Subject: Winter Prep help needed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi All,

I'm transplanting myself and wife to New Hampshire and will need to know how to winterize an '86 trans- porter that I bought as a snow/winter vehicle. I'm storing the '91 camper during the winter. So I'm asking the folks in the Nashua, N.H. area what do you do to get your waterboxers through the winter? What kind/weight oil do you use? What's the coolant mix? Any special brake fluid? Do I need a block heater/or special oil dip stick? The transporter will be sitting outside so I have a space heater to warm up the interior before I go.

Any advice for the above as well as information on which snow tires to use for daily commute is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Steven Johnson Last day in California!!! :) '86 Transporter '91 Camper
