Budd, glad to know where to call if all does not go well with the AC kit installation.

One of my big concerns is that when my ductwork fell on the floor (my middle seat is out) the wide lip on the long center section shattered, leaving no real material for the front piece to fit over. Now instead of the ductwork pieces fitting to gether like pieces of stove pipe, onsection into the other, they are simply butt to butt. No overlap. I'm wondering what VW and the Dealership is going to do about that. I have seen the new support kit, and it ain't much. Two simple sheet steel plates. Nothing impressive at all. With the ends not being able to sleeve together, there is going to be gap-osis and air blowing through in the wrong places. No tight seal.

I am having concerns that the dealership is going to put the kit in and call it good, when it really isn't finished because there is related broken ductwork to be repaired.

May be just fretting for nothing, but I have gotten the shaft before, and I don't like being the recipient!!!!
