This is the same problem I had with the Agilis 81's on my "87 Westy (check the archives for the whole gory story). The tires being load range "D" are TOO HARD ! Vanagons do not like too soft a side wall nor too hard a side wall. Load range "C" is the proper tire for a Vanagon, don't let any tire flogger tell you differently. >>
