I had some luck with a shareware Virtual Desktop product called Winspace Lite by TriPlus. Lets you "pan and scan" and use the software on any screen. Apparantly is not video card specific. I think I got if off of their website, triplus.com, but I don't see a free version there now. (Full version is $38.) You may want to do a net search for winspace and see if the free download is still out there somewhere. I ended up with this after trying another V.D. shareware product that crashed my Win98 desktop. (Don't recall the name of that one; since uninstalled it.)
