Not to say these aren't a good idea considering the price of CV's, but I have to laugh at the concept. A CV boot itself is in fact a CV protector. So that would make these contraptions "CV protector protectors!" Come to think of it, at $70 each they're quite expensive, so it probably pays to install something to keep _them_ from getting damaged.
