My local, independent VW mechanic/technician/whatever, has been in business for ten years. To celebrate the occasion, he hosted a tenth anniversary customer appreciation party last Saturday. Customers were treated to bratwurst, sauerkraut, hot dogs, burgers, German beer and wine, coffee, pop, juice, Black Forest cake and the melodic sounds of a 18 piece German Oktoberfest dance band under a canopy erected on his parking lot. To top this off, one lucky customer, not me :( received an all expenses paid weekend stay at a local holiday resort! This is quite an expression of gratitude from a small, four person, family run business. Roy Olynick '87 Westfalia GL (till death do us part) |
