> Did someone ever try to put 4 bicycles on a Paulchen rack installed on a > VAnagon ?. I know that this suppose installing extra hardware. Yes and yes. I have carried 4 bicycles on my Paulchen rack many times without incident. The biggest problems are arranging the bikes so that the handlebars, pedals, etc. nest together well, and with four bikes on the back, forget about raising the hatch! My older model Paulchen rack came with a set of extension bars and two extra bike mounts so there are four of the trombone style bike holders on my rack. Best wishes, Tony Anthony L.
