Subject: Re: Michelin Agilis 61 Tires Report
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Finally got my Agilis 61's wet, wet, wet Thursday night during a long overdue rainstorm here in Arkansas. Intentionally ran the Vanagon through the deepest water I could. Finally hit one huge low spot with God knows how deep a puddle and the right front tire slid slightly. Since this was at 2AM and the I was driving into the storm, slowly pushed the speed up to 70 mph in the brief part of the heavy stuff once I got on the interstate heading home from work. These are definitely rain-friendly tires.

On a scale of 1-10, these tires are a definite 10 for a 90GL with stock wheels that never goes off road but frequently sees gravel roads. The van will never look lowered and cool, but then a stock looking Vanagon is less likely to get broken in to.
