I tried to fit a set of these whellcovers on my 1983.5 Vanagon but there was no way. They wouldn't even get close to catching the wheel because the hubs stuck out too far. As I recall both on the front and the rear the hubs were a problem, but definately on the front. And the hub on my bus kept the Golf wheelcover a good 1/2 inch away from the wheel. >>

ive seen some vans w/ the '93-'98 jetta/golf wheelcovers on them. they fit fine on the back, but on the front you have to drill alittle hole in the one for the speedo cable thingie that sticks out of the hub. not a good fit. chris
