To the List,

It is time to say Good-Bye for now. I have been with this list for over six and a half years, started in March 1994, before I got my Vanagon Syncro, back when it was one seemingly unified list for all Type IIs. There have been high points, such as the personal stories that people post from time to time, through the years and low points, such as the people who gripe about those posting, but over all you are a really good group of people.

I have been without a Vanagon since January, I was just waiting to do something with all my extra Syncro parts, and I still like to read the posts, and since I have sold and given away the last of them I don’t see the need to stay around much longer.

I am also on the Air-Cooled List, have been since the split, as I still have the 1972 Westy that I got in August 1988 so those of you who are on both list will see me posting there from time to time.

So, until next time I get a Vanagon (Syncro GL Westfalia! :-)), Good-Bye!

Brad Spear ‘72 Westy Burnsville, Minnesota
