Hi-
        I am trying to determine if a few of the hoses on our
vans are specifying rated to deal with oxygenated fuels.
The two hoses I am most interested in is the wide diameter
hose that comes off the fuel filler/cap attached thingy
and the 7mm hose which runs to and from the engine (namely
N 020 281 1). I am trying to determine if the hose will stand
up to methanol and ethonal that is possibly suspended in
biodiesel...


        I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me
either whether the above hoses are fluroelastomer based
or how I might be able to determine whether they are
myself.


        Anyone have any idea?
