I've tried mine on my 1.9. I can't move it by myself, I think I would need a vacuum pump along with my vacuum gauge. Then again I could not draw air freely through the hose, so my diaphram is still intact I would think. The advance works when I use my light, I haven't checked it too thourghly yet though (i.e. mark pulley in degrees to see total advance).
