Subject: Need help my van won't start
Content-Type: text/plain

This is a follow up with my problems starting my van.

I spent the day trying the following. Opening up the fuel system to see if the fuel pump was working. It seems to. Working on the spark. At first it seemed to be not as strong, but after some adjustment on the wires it was stronger. I looked for leaks. I found one in the rubber onnector between the throttle body and the air filter. I adjusted the the air mixture and the distributor. To no avail. All I get is a small backfire through the intake. I have floored the throttle. I checked the switches on the throttle. I tried to check the Temp II sensor but don't know if what to look for. No more ideas.

A local tech is willing to start the work for $60 per hour. Already is adding more time for what I have done. I wish I was making $60 per hour.
