Well, most everybody interprets that saying poorly.

So, instead of saying "the customer is always right", let's say:

"The customer is always the customer".

I would also say that those in the customer-service industry, which both of the previous posters are, could benefit from specialized customer-service training - so could their employees.

One aspect of said training is on how to deal with irate customers. Thing is, an irate customer can be turned around in about 30 seconds, once you know how.

Then the irate customer is your most loyal and happy customer, because he was the customer in greatest need of assistance - which you can always give him.

Here here! I'm in the taxi business, and we meet some reeally awful customers too. The customer certainly is NOT always right.

I have only ordered from Ron once (an instrument cluster), and have no complaint.
