The different color bodies indicated different coils. Make sure the coil has a resistance of ~16 ohms. The air cooled injectors had 4 ohm coils and used a resistor pack in series. The wrong coil will cause excessive current flow through the ECU and eventually cause it to fail. I found this out the hard way after replacing a set of injectors on an '85. After the third ECU died, I figured it out.

Hi David,

The color can be yellow or green. What matters is that the Bosch numbers on the top of the injectors match. The number is very small so you may need a magnifying glass. Also the ohmic value of any Digifant injector should be ~15 to 17 ohms.
