Subject: Tar on carpet
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

On a hot day I stepped in some melted road tar and got a spot on my carpet. Anyone know the best way to clean it off?

On another subject, I just removed the spare from my van for the first time ever. Discovered it was a partially-worn Michelin MXL made in Spain. Had water inside it. Is it best to wrap the spare in a plastic bag before stowing it?
