Subject: rear wiper question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

on my '89, my rear wiper isnt working. i removed the hatch panel, found the wiper motor to be bad, (it shorted out on the insulation!!) and replaced it with a good working one i had that i tested. i also tested the continuity of the wires going to the rear hatch motor. they are hot ALL the time.?! but, when i hooked everything back up, and tried it, it wouldnt work. when i pushed the right wiper stalk forward, only the rear squirter motor came on, and shot fluid out, but no rear wiper. where is the relay for the rear wiper motor?? any ideas? heres what i know: -fuse is good. (#12) -rear wiper motor is good. -there is current going to rear hatch, but it's CONSTANT? -right wiper stalk on strg colum only operates rear squirter when pushed fwd.

any ideas? ps: those little grey rear hatch panel clips are friggin $1 each!! :<( TIA- chris
