My biggest pet peeve is wind leaks (yeah, and I'm driving a Vanagon for what reason again?). Anyways, both my front doors leak a little. Before going whole hog and replacing the door seals (is this worth it?) is there a way of removing the slop from the door hinges? I suspect that after 15 years, they have developed just a little sag, and may be partly to blame. Anyone gone and replaced their door seals only to find it didn't help much? Am I nuts in thinking I can get a nice seal around the doors again? Keith Adams Calgary, Alberta, Canada 1986 Vanagon GL Westfalia |
