POR-15 has no UV inhibitors and will not last long in the sunlight. It works very well on the undercarriage or hidden areas of the interior. I have heard that Por-15 is an excellent rust cure but looking at the web site for this product (por-15.com) it looks like the product must be painted on so thick that it would be completely unsuitable for exterior body work. Any coat that was sanded down enough to blend in with undamaged body areas would be unable to provide the "rust return" protection that was the reason for applying Por-15 in the first place. True? |
