Hey all, Got a bit of a leak in the factory sunroof of my newly acquired '86 Transporter. Unfortunately, all of my VW manuals are in storage somewhere in Mass. and I have no accessto them as yet. So I'm asking for advice from the list as to how to correctly uninstall the old and reinstall a new one. As far as I can tell, the only thing sealing the sunroof right now is a felt material that runs around the mating surface rim of the frame and the sunroof itself. Is there supposed to be like a rubber/ composite seal there as well? This van was in Cali- fornia and I thought maybe that the lack of a seal was not an issue? Any insight or help with this procedure is greatly appreciated. Oh, also, help with what kind of goop to seal it with would help too. Thanks so much!
