Some people have reported solving this problem simply by taking the van to a car wash.... open the slider door... spray the tracks (upper and lower) with simple green... let it soak for a while... then use pressure washer to remove simple green and dirt...

Others have not been so lucky... latch mechanism needs to be worked on... see archives for this...
