Many have suggested a stuck thermostat. My thoughts exactly. EXCEPT... the thermostat was in my hand on Friday and prior to its installation it got boiled. Closed in cold water, opened gradually to full open at 187 deg. F. A couple others suggested w/p impeller. Maybe, but once again, it was in my hand on Friday and this morning during the 'burping' process, the level of the pressure reservoir fluctuated with throttle position/rpms... Just like its supposed to.

This problem started after the replacement of the 'Bars Leaks' plugged radiator. I'm convinced that we have a faulty thermostat, but it sure tests fine. (BTW, do NOT purchase a 1.9 thermostat from NAPA. Their listing is incorrect and in will not fit.)

Tomorrow I'll put a thermometer on it and we'll see what we see...

Thanks for your suggestions.

Jim
