ah - that's how the legend started.

Jeff and I noticed rust pushing the seal out from the pop-top.

Apparently there is a metal wire in there that rusts - mine is totally disintegrated and must be replaced.

This sounds like a project that'd be nice to do in your garage, with all the local listees watching - doncha agree? Hmmm? ;>)

BTW: That awning I bought is a total PITA to put together. Jeff and I had a lot of laughs assembling it - and we met our new listee, Michael and his family too.
