I've run most all tires available for the Vanagon in the 250,000 miles that I've traveled in it. The tire I like best is a Yokohama "Super Van - 356". This is an 8-ply rated load range "D" tire and is available for around $79.00 per tire. I've driven this tire over lots of nasty terrain in the desert of So. Utah and have not had even one flat.

Agilis are $103

Michelin MXT's are $105

I would like to go with the Yoko's if there are people who like them alot on Vanagons. I will be using them for light snow, highway and in town running around.
