Resistance to rust. Doesn't really look any different. And yes, as Frank Condelli correctly points out, the flanges on my muffler are not stainless, whereas the Stebro's are. However, there is also a large difference in price. Mine is $109 minus listmember discount, which is the same price as (or lower than!) a non-stainless muffler would cost anywhere else - so you get the stainless construction at no extra cost. The Stebro indeed would probably outlast mine by virtue of its stainless flanges, albeit at a significantly higher price.
