I bought a set last year. They were on a fwd Jetta only during the winter. In that application they were amazing. Don't think I'd recommend them year round though. The treads are riddled with siping which makes them great in rain and snow, but squirrelly in the dry. Haven't seen this, but I'll bet they'd get hot in the summer. The Hakkaapelitta's are well know as a great Pro-Rally tire. I've not heard them lauded as a summer highway tire though.
