What a timely question.  According to Ron Solomon (wade through recent
postings), the S&S product is inferior to the Dansk offering.  According to
me, and I do not have any vested interest in VW, the VW parts are far
superior to the Dansk.  Also, if you turn on the charm, you may be able to
cultivate a relationship with a dealer parts guy who, with one mighty
keystroke, can knock 20%-40% off the list price.
