Subject: Exhaust leak
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Volks, I've been having exhaust leak problems for the past year...First I had the header machined down to fix a leak there then replaced a bad pipe and everything was quiet till I took it to a different shop to determine why the van was sluggish. That turned out to be an ignition coil problem but my exhaust leak returned as a result, this time of a bad muffler strap. The muffler is now moving around and cannot be stabilized. Has anyone else had this problem? The muffler strap cannot be tightened down enough for some reason. Thanks for any advice, Rick 85 Westie 2.1 upgrade
