Hi list members! I have been trying to quiet some of the squeaks, rattles and bumps in my '90 Westy. I have padded out the two grills and the front bumper so they no longer rattle around. Two questions: 1. There is an annoying squawk or squeak from the clutch linkage under the dash, when I push in and let out the pedal. There appears to be plenty of grease on the pivot point. Any ideas where this noise may be coming from and how I can get at it to lube it?
2. Should the radiator fan turn freely like an ordinary electric fan? When I move it with my finger, there seems to be some resistance. It does work, but is a little noise. Thanks, Jerry |
