One of those nagging little Westy problems that I've never got around to fixing. The POV of our 85 Westy apparently replaced the skylight mosquito netting and the brown fabric privacy cover. It looks like an integrated one-piece unit that is attached to the skylight by a square piece of Velcro trim. Here're the issue - the POV glued the corresponding Velcro base trim piece to the plastic skylight. Whenever it's warm, however, the 'glue' softens and the mosquito netting comes 'oozing' down. Can anyone recommend a glue/epoxy that's worked well for them in this application? Many thanks. Todd Guttman 85 Westy 'Rivendell' Columbus, OH. |
